Contact WEAR YELLOW FOR SETH
There is one inbox for WEAR YELLOW FOR SETH, and it is read by our editors. Write to us at support@wearyellowforseth.com. We are a small team, so we keep things simple: one address, real people behind it, and a request that you help us route your message quickly.
The single most useful thing you can do is put the purpose at the front of your subject line. A clear tag tells us what kind of message this is before we open it, and it gets your note to the right person faster. Please start your subject with one of these:
- CORRECTION: something we published is wrong or out of date.
- TIP: information or a lead you think we should look into.
- PITCH: a story idea or a piece you would like to write.
- ADVERTISING: buying ads or a commercial enquiry.
- PRIVACY: a data request or a question about your information.
Corrections and complaints
If you have found an error, tell us plainly what is wrong and, where you can, point to the article and the specific line. Include a link or a source if you have one. We take corrections seriously, we log them, and we fix the record rather than quietly editing it away. The full process is set out in our corrections policy, and the standards behind our reporting are in our editorial standards. Complaints about fairness or tone go to the same address; be specific and we will look properly.
Story tips
Good tips make the site better, and we welcome them. Tell us what you know, how you know it, and what you can back up. Documents, dates, and names help. We cannot promise to run every tip, and we verify before we publish, but a solid lead gets real attention.
If your tip is sensitive, protect yourself first. Do not send confidential material from a work account or over a channel your employer controls. Send a short first note without the sensitive details and say you need a secure route. We will agree on an encrypted channel before you share anything that could expose you. We do not identify our sources, and we would rather lose a story than put a source at risk. Think about metadata too: the way a file or message is sent can reveal more than its contents.
Pitches and press releases
Pitches are welcome from writers and from people with a story to place. Keep it short, tell us why it matters now, and tell us who you are. Please do not send unsolicited attachments. We will not open files we did not ask for, so paste text into the body of your email or share a link, and we will request documents if we want them. Press releases are fine, but a release is a starting point for us, not a finished article, and we treat it that way.
Advertising
For commercial enquiries, tag your subject with ADVERTISING and tell us what you have in mind. Advertising keeps the site free to read, and it is kept separate from the newsroom. Buying an ad does not buy coverage, influence a story, or soften a correction. You can read more on our advertise page, and the way commercial support relates to our editorial independence is explained on our ownership and funding page.
Privacy requests and legal notices
For anything about your personal data, including access, deletion, or opting out of the sale or sharing of information, tag your subject with PRIVACY. Our privacy policy explains your rights and how we handle requests, and our cookie policy covers tracking choices. Formal legal notices, including takedown requests, can be sent to the same inbox; if your notice concerns copyright, please see our DMCA policy for what to include.
When to expect a reply
We read everything, but we cannot answer everything, and we will not pretend otherwise. Straightforward corrections tend to move fastest, because acting on them is the whole point. Tips, pitches, and general questions can take longer, and quiet messages are not rejections. If a matter is urgent or legal, say so clearly in the subject line so it rises to the top.
A note on impersonation
The only official way to reach us is the email address on this page. We do not run accounts that solicit money, passwords, or personal data, and we will never ask you for those. If a social media account claims to be WEAR YELLOW FOR SETH and asks for anything like that, treat it as fake and do not respond. When in doubt, write to support@wearyellowforseth.com and ask.
