News moves, and early reports are provisional

Breaking news is a first draft written while events are still unfolding. In the first hours of a story, numbers get revised, names get corrected, official statements land after the fact, and early accounts turn out to be incomplete. We publish what we can stand behind at the time, and then we keep working as the facts firm up. That means an article you read at nine in the morning may read differently by the afternoon, because the situation itself has changed or because better information arrived. When we change a story, we do it in the open and we say so. How that works is set out in our corrections policy.

Nothing here is professional advice

WEAR YELLOW FOR SETH is a newsroom run by a small independent team. We gather, check, and write up news for a general audience. We are not a law firm, a clinic, a financial adviser, a government body, or an official source of record. When we report what an official source said, we are relaying it, and the original source remains the authority. If our account and an official document ever disagree, trust the original and please tell us so we can fix it.

We aim for accuracy, but we do not guarantee it

Our team works to get things right, to attribute claims, and to correct mistakes quickly. Our editorial standards and our fact-checking policy describe the process. Even with all that, we cannot guarantee that every article is complete, fully current, or free of error at the exact moment you read it. News is made under deadline pressure from imperfect information. We promise effort and honesty about our mistakes, not perfection. If you spot something wrong, the fastest fix starts with you telling us.

Links to other sites are not endorsements

We link out constantly, to sources, filings, studies, official pages, and other coverage. Those sites belong to other people, and we do not control what they publish or how they behave. Forward-looking, market, and health cautions

Some reporting touches on what might happen next: forecasts, projections, analyst expectations, or statements about the future from the people we cover. The future is uncertain by nature, and predictions quoted in a story can be wrong.
